Reviews:

"I would like to thank everyone who helped to make this exhibition such a great success!
We all had a real good time
, and eleven of the twenty-four paintings on exhibition found new homes! Click on the image above to see the paintings and read my artist's statement for the exhibition. I deeply appreciate the keen judgement and good taste of my new collectors, patrons, and supporters." -Roberto Quintana

Opening Reception and Live Jazz:
Saturday, February 28, 8:00pm - 11:30pm
Roberto Montero (Brazilian Guitar)
"It was a dark and stormy night, in a used-bookshop on a one-way street in the City of Roses. Actually, it wasn't that rainy, and a great time was had by all! Thanx to everyone who attended and made my exhibition opening such a great success. The conversations were legendary, the music was sublime, and many paintings have found new homes! If you missed this event... I hope to see you at the next one!" -RQ

Meet the Artist and live Jazz:
Saturday, March 7, 8:00pm - 11:30pm
Special Guests: Ron Cyger (sax) with George Tiller (bass) and John Volk (guitar)
"A second successful event for my exhibition, including beautiful live jazz by Ron Cyger and friends helping us to explore the realms of inter-space and the quantum-field. We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts to friends, and family, (and folks we didn't know before) for your interest, enthusiasm, and encouragement--and for supporting Century Books as well!" -RQ

Lecture and Discussion:
ENTROPY AND ART: THE VIEW BEYOND ARNHEIM
Tuesday, March 10, 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Professor Matilde Marcolli,
author "Still Life as a Model of Spacetime"
http://recoveringinfinity.blogspot.com/
"Professor Marcolli's lecture was well organized, informative, and highly efficient--in fact, the entropy was palpable!

We began in a highly energized (and well behaved) state, but by the end of the lecture, it was total chaos.
Thanx to everyone who attended and made this event such a great success--and special thanx to the inimitable Professor Marcolli for her perspective on the artwork."
-RQ

Meet the Artist and live Jazz Redux:
Saturday, March 14, 8:00pm - 11:30pm
Krys Mach (sax)
"The Redux was Remarkable! Krys was amazing on sax and trumpet!! With this event we have successfully circumnavigated a fun exhibition. The pi and brownies were delicious. It was a real pleasure to share my most recent work with friends and family. I'd like to send out a very special thank-you to Amara and Breita for their enthusiasm, and for their astute observations and clever conversation.
Happy 'Pi-day' everyone."

  Circumspect-fully yours... -Roberto Quintana
