"It's hard to believe that it's been over 25 years since I worked on this project with Christina Rosenthal!

One of the great things about mural painting is that it tends to be a real collaborative effort and you get to work with all kinds of creative and talented people.

You get to learn different ways of doing things, new skills
and tricks of the trade, and you 'get to' get out of your comfort zone and be challenged to find solutions to some very interesting problems. These projects for
Prince were no exception.
Christina did a fantastic job with many of the preliminary designs and coordinating with all the various personalities (you know who you are!) and the various-vested interests all along the way. "

"It was a pleasure working with you Mr. Nelson!"

"It's one thing to be asked to help a fellow Muralista with her project, you know, to lend a hand to assist with blocking-in and fill-in work to help meet a deadline ... and I had worked with Christina's Studio on several projects... But, when a fellow Artist asks you to collaborate on a project for Prince! ...
Well how could you say 'No'!?  ...and why would you!
          Yes, Yes,
Yes!"
-Roberto Quintana

Christina worked up some really creative 'Golden Papyrus'
and 'fantasy' faux-finishes for the entry-way...

Prince liked our work so much, he flew us back to Minnesota
to do a bunch of paintings for the set of a
